This scholarship is awarded to a Grade 12 student who attended elementary and junior high, up to and including Grade 9 in Big Valley/Morrin.

The Todd Memorial Scholarship consists of two scholarships: "The Dr. E.F. Todd Memorial Matriculation Award" and "The Dr. E.F. Todd Memorial Science Award".
The scholarships will be awarded on the following basis:
1. The winner of the Dr. E.F. Todd matriculation prize shall be the student graduating from High Schools under the jurisdiction of the Trustee, who has the best average in the preceding school year, of five (5) matriculation subjects, which, in any event, must be an average of at least seventy (70%). The subjects included are:
• English 30
• Mathematics 30 or 31
• Social Studies 30
• French 30
• Biology 30
• Physics 30
• Chemistry 30
2. The winner of the Dr. E.F. Todd Memorial Science Award shall be the student graduating from High Schools under the jurisdiction of the Trustee, who has the best average in the preceding school year for any three (3) of the following subjects:
• Mathematics 30 or 31
• Physics 30
• Chemistry 30
• Biology 30
This scholarship is awarded annually to a person who lives within Drumheller or the surrounding area and has been accepted into a post-secondary educational institution to become a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
* $1500 - deadline is September 1st. Students must be entering or presently enrolled in an R.N. or R.P.N. program.
The Morrin Lions Club is partnering with the Lions of Alberta Foundation to offer a scholarship of $1000 to a deserving student from Morrin School.

This award is based upon student’s completed portfolios, as well as their completed application form. This scholarship is open to Morrin School students in Grades 10, 11 and 12.
The Rumsey and District Agricultural Society Post Secondary Scholarship is applicable to students whose parent or legal guardians or the students themselves are members of the Rumsey Ag. Society and as well is directed to the following objectives:
To grant scholarship to deserving youth to assist them in their pursuit of further education at the post secondary level.
To encourage youth within the community to pursue further education.
To reward academic achievement and extra-curricular involvement in school activities.
To acknowledge community involvement and volunteer work.
To recognize involvement in the 4-H program.

Storwell Self Storage has re-launched their Foster Children Bursary to foster children who are working on building a better life for themselves.
Storwell offers an annual bursary of $2,000 to support foster children as they pursue their post-secondary education and to help them as they progress into a new and exciting stage of their lives.
The Western Inspirational Award is a bursary for local high school graduates in our communities who:
• Have displayed outstanding community and/or school spirit as an organizer, participant, or volunteer and/or
• Have demonstrated inspirational conduct, whether an act of heroism or crisis leadership and/or
Have overcome adversity (mental/physical disability), financial hardship, family issues etc.
