Work experience provides students with the opportunity to earn high school credits through applying knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in the workplace.
Discover their career interests and aptitudes in meaningful work activities, situated in community-based workstations and work sites.
Work Experience 15-25-35 are offered for 3-10 credits at each level.
Each course is time based (25 hours/credit)
A student may enroll in Work Experience 35 without completing WE 15 or 25. This course qualifies as 30 level credits towards their Alberta High School Diploma. WE 15 and 25 cannot be awarded after WE 35.
Students may earn up to 15 credits in Work Experience towards their Alberta High School Diploma.

Complete HCS3000 (Workplace Safety Systems). Contact your Off Campus Coordinator for assistance if you need helping registering in this course.
Complete the Work Experience Contract and submit it to your Off Campus Coordinator
Off Campus Coordinator will complete a Site Safety Inspection
Students record hours on Monthly Timesheets and submit to your Off Campus Coordinator at the end of each month.
Employers record learner expectations and assessments in the Work Experience Learning and Assessment Plan.
